Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal climbing or training data (such as climb logs, grades, timer settings, or workout history). This data remains exclusively on your device unless you explicitly choose to use a platform feature like iCloud Sync.

Data Collection for Third-Party Advertising (Google AdMob)

BoulderLog uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob is a service provided by Google Inc.

To show ads that may be relevant to you, AdMob may collect and use information about you, including:

• Device Information: Such as your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), operating system, and rough location data (derived from IP address, typically at the city level).
• Usage Data: Information about your interaction with the ads presented in the app.

Google Privacy & Terms

Analytics

To improve the app's stability and performance, we use:

• Apple's Private Analytics: Basic, anonymized usage and crash data collected through Apple's App Analytics framework (which you can opt out of in your device's Privacy settings).
• Google AdMob Analytics: AdMob may also collect analytics data to provide us with aggregated insights into how the app is used, which helps us improve its features. This data is anonymous and not tied to your identity.

In-App Purchases

All purchases are processed securely through the Apple App Store. We only receive confirmation of your purchase; we do not have access to, collect, or store any of your payment information.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with third parties as necessary for the services they provide to us (specifically, Google for AdMob and analytics, and Apple for purchase processing), and as described in this policy.

Your Choices

• Limit Ad Tracking: You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google AdMob by adjusting the "Limit Ad Tracking" setting in your iOS device's Privacy & Security settings.
• Apple Analytics: You can opt out of sharing analytics data with app developers in your iOS device's Privacy & Security settings under "Analytics & Improvements."

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use ShoDev applications on Apple devices you own or control.

2. Restrictions

You may not reverse-engineer, modify, or distribute any ShoDev application without explicit permission.

3. Liability

ShoDev applications are provided "as is". We are not responsible for any injuries sustained during climbing activities.

4. Climbing Disclaimer

Climbing is an inherently dangerous activity. You are solely responsible for your safety, proper use of equipment, and climbing within your limits. Always consult with professionals before attempting new techniques.
